Robert Montgomery - Coltash
UNCORRECTED PROOF. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR AND LIMITED TO 100 COPIES
HAND NUMBERED AND STAMPED
Robert Montgomery has talked about a "long book" a book of long poems that contain many of the sources of his well known billboard poems. This is that book. Coltash is in fact a book of often intensely personal poems documenting Montgomery's first decade in London, which are often addressed to his four close friends who died in that decade, posthumous love letters to the still close at heart. It looks at the present with a kind of romantic nostalgia and contains many of the significant fragments that became better known as billboards in his visual art practice.
Printed on 90gsm FSC munken cream book paper. Hand bound in 270 gsm GF Smith laid watercolour paper
